From the first moment that I found out I was pregnant, I started imagining life with my little one. I was incredibly excited about the idea of cooking for him, and making sure my baby always had healthy homemade meals available. I still bought some jars from stores, especially if I was going to travel, since store bought items are easier to travel with, and don’t spoil easily. However, my goal was to feed my son homemade food as much as possible.
The time came, and my baby was a little over five months old. I could already start giving him food other than his milk. I tried out many different blenders and steamers. I was always happy with one, but not the other product. Even if I was happy with both, it was just too many different products, and they were taking up a lot of counter and storage space, which I did not have at the time.
One of my acquaintances, whose baby was a few months older than mine, told me to get BEABA Babycook Plus 4 in 1 Steam Cooker and Blender. According to her, this was a lifesaver, as she did not worry about steaming the fruits and vegetables for the correct amount of time anymore, and it was just one piece of equipment that both steamed and blended. I was interested and wanted to learn more about it. I went online, searched for the product and read the reviews. Most of what I read was very positive. I watched some review videos on YouTube and decided to give it a shot.
The price was little bit high. If I remember correctly, I paid around $190 on Amazon to buy it. However, let me tell you this-IT WAS FORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. BEABA Babycook machine helped me tremendously with meal planning for my son. The one I bought was the following: BEABA Babycook. This has two sides that steams, and one side that blends. This double steam capability was what I loved most, because it allowed me to prepare many different foods in a short amount of time. My BEABA Babycook came with a recipe book with it, which was very helpful, and had a lot of interesting recipes to keep my little one from getting bored.
There is no guesswork involved with this machine, as it tells you how much water to put in it for different fruits, vegetables, and even meats/poultry. When the food is properly steamed, it automatically turns off. So you never have to worry about under cooking or overcooking your baby’s food. I loved this so much, that I bought a second one and gave it to my mom. At the time while I was at work, my mother was taking care of my son, so I wanted to make sure that she also has an easy and simple way to feed him nutritious and homemade foods. I still have my BEABA babycook, however, since my son is almost two years old, I don’t use it anymore. It is however, being kept for when I will have my second baby, and will need to start using it again. If it stops working for whatever reason, I will definitely repurchase, as I believe this is a holy grail item for preparing homemade food for babies.
If you are a parent who loves cooking, experimenting with different recipes, then this little equipment is right for you. I guarantee that you will enjoy creating many different recipes that your baby will love. Thanks to this, my son learned to love all fruits and vegetables at an early age. Due to the fact that preparing meals was super easy and quick, I was able to introduce a lot of different fruits and vegetables to his diet.
